Kidderminster College is hosting drop-in clinics during the summer period to help Worcestershire businesses understand how hiring an apprentice can enhance their workforce. 

Local businesses are being invited to attend one of Kidderminster College’s open days to visit their new Green Technology Centre. The event runs from 7:30AM – 8:30AM.

Attendees will have the chance to:

• Meet the staff from Construction and Automotive to discuss apprenticeships, curriculum links, skills bootcamps, training programmes and more.
• Meet the Apprenticeship Team to discuss the recruitment process.
• Meet Rachel from CITB to discuss the wide range of business grants of up to £8500 when you hire an apprentice, £500 for hosting a work experience placement and an additional £1000 should that learner become your apprentice. (Applicable to Bricklaying, Carpentry & Property Maintenance apprentices.)
• Tour Kidderminster College’s new Green Technology Centre hosting our Autocare, Motor Vehicle, Bricklaying, Carpentry, Property Maintenance and Electrical curricula.
