Worcestershire’s biggest careers event, the Worcestershire Skills Show returns to the county during National Careers Week (3-9 March).
As the county’s largest and most comprehensive careers event, the Worcestershire Skills Show 2025 will take place on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th March, providing invited students in Years 7 to 11, as well as post-16 learners in Years 12 and 13, the chance to explore a wide range of industries and engage directly with local employers.
Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with leading organisations across a broad breadth of industry sectors, including homegrown enterprises as well as national and international recognised businesses. This interaction gives students valuable insights into career pathways while highlighting Worcestershire’s thriving economy.
With hands-on employer stands, interactive activities, and expert career advice, the event is designed to bridge the gap between education and employment. Young people will also gain guidance and information from a wide variety of education and training providers offering further education opportunities, including study programmes, college courses, internships, apprenticeships, university places, and some of the county’s finest training providers.

It is fantastic to see so many businesses supporting the event, providing invaluable insights into career pathways and opportunities across different industries, and shining a light on the fantastic variety of sectors that call our county ‘home’. I encourage students, as well as their parents and carers to make the most of this opportunity to gain real-world career guidance.”
Parents and carers are also invited to attend a special drop-in session on Wednesday 5th March (4pm – 7pm), where they can access information on local opportunities and learn how to support their young people in making informed career choices.
