Nestled on the outskirts of Kidderminster, Deerhurst Day Nursery operates from a charming two-storey Edwardian house. With a passionate team of 30 early-years professionals, the nursery provides exceptional care, play, and learning opportunities for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
The Challenge
After successfully completing the Elevate Programme delivered by Worcestershire County Council, Deerhurst wanted to continue building staff capability and strengthening nursery operations. To drive long-term growth, upskill their team, and enhance future-readiness, they sought expert business support, turning to the Worcestershire Growth Hub.

The Growth Hub connected Deerhurst with the SkillsBoost programme to support Continued Professional Development (CPD), strengthening staff knowledge, confidence, and expertise. As a result, the nursery not only enhanced its team capability but also achieved an Eco Award for its educational setting.
