Free Event for Worcestershire SMEs on Mental Health Support

Mental health challenges can significantly affect employee motivation, productivity, and overall wellbeing. For employers, this can translate into higher absenteeism, reduced performance, and difficulty retaining talented staff.

That’s why creating a supportive working environment is not only vital for employees but also makes strong business sense.

To help local businesses, the Worcestershire Growth Hub, in partnership with the University of Worcester and Maximus is hosting an important event designed to help small and medium sized organisations to better understand how to support mental health in the workplace.

This event, on Monday 22 September, will highlight the benefits of the Access to Work Mental Health Support Service – a confidential, personalised, and completely free service available to employees who may be struggling.

This event is designed for business owners, HR managers, and mental health advocates within the SME community who want to better understand how to foster healthier, more supportive workplaces.

Attendees will gain practical insights into how they can access and implement this support in their own organisations, hear from expert speakers and also engage in a discussion with others to share best practice.

Spaces for the event are limited and businesses interested in attending can register their place via the Eventbrite link – https://www.eventbrite.com/e/empowering-employers-to-support-mental-health-in-the-workplace-tickets-1465322812979
