As part of the Worcestershire Local Skills Improvement Plan the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce had many conversations with employers to find out what they need most from their future workforce. The answer was undeniably better work readiness skills and a better comprehension of work based IT systems.
In response to this, the Chamber have developed two courses that they know will meet this need: Professional Skills for the Workplace, and IT Skills for the Workplace. Thanks to government funding, the Chamber can offer this training free of charge to residents of Worcester City and Wyre Forest and heavily subsidised for those living in Wychavon, however anyone can attend the courses. These courses are aimed at new entrants to the workplace, and those looking to improve their confidence.
