New funding is being made available to support Agriculture based businesses with their productivity and innovation.
The new ADOPT funding, from DEFRA (Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs) is designed to support on-farm tests and trials that enhance profitability, productivity, and sustainability for farmers, growers, and foresters across England.
This funding comes from Defra, as part of the Farming Innovation Programme delivered by Innovate UK.
At the National Farmers’ Union (NFU) Conference in February, DEFRA Secretary of State, Steve Reed, announced that the first funding opportunity as part of ADOPT will open in Spring 2025.
Innovate UK is delivering an informative webinar to help businesses learn more about the new ADOPT (Accelerating Development of Practices and Technologies) funding opportunity, including eligibility and how this funding can benefit agricultural businesses.
The webinar will take place on Wednesday 30th April, between 10am and 12pm and is free to attend.
