Since the latest round of funding launched in April, more than 40 Worcestershire businesses have received vital support through the Innovation Worcestershire, Elevate, and Enterprising Worcestershire grant programmes.
These schemes are designed to fuel local growth, spark innovation, and create new employment opportunities. Grants range from £1,000 to £30,000 and are available on a match-funded basis, helping businesses invest in areas such as new equipment, marketing, product development, and expansion into new markets.
Each grant programme is tailored to meet businesses at different stages of their journey:
Innovation Worcestershire: For businesses developing and launching innovative, new-to-market products, technologies, or services.
Elevate Worcestershire: For established SMEs (trading 3+ years) looking to grow, scale their workforce, and strengthen their competitiveness.
Enterprising Worcestershire: For early-stage businesses and start-ups trading for 3 years or less. To be eligible, businesses must contribute at least 60% of the project cost, with funding awarded on a competitive basis and subject to availability.
